From the ancient times the Serge-totem poles are the part of traditional beliefs, attitude towards life and religion that dominated by Yakuts`.
Multistoried universe – the complex structure consisting of independent worlds, separated from each other by various barriers and obstacles. At the same time worlds are not fully isolated, they are interconnected. From the land it is possible to go up to the heaven or to go down to the underworld. The connecting element is the so-called axis of the world, which puts together the entire universe and is its midpoint. Located usually in the center of the universe, it is the main supporting column, connecting the huge edifice of the world.
The Yakut grandmother - shamans, totem poles, urasa, land, cattle... we are cosmopolitans, artists, metal, glass, we are the footprint. We are the link and have no right to reject any of the music notes of the work, because we became a part of it.
Metal - creator.
Glass - light. Soldered, related they are ringing, rustle, polyphony, making up a sketch of the newest time.
The color is just an accent, call to peer, to listen and to understand that the essence is on the surface. Too much is not needed. A look. The man and the nature have always been inseparable. Discard all unnecessary. Purity, clarity, preciseness, honesty.
Glass is not only the prism. One can come up with a million stories and clues, but the fantasy does not justify itself. A long way of knowledge has already been passed by the artist. There is a result. Obvious. For one who is open. Is free. There is a chance to leave an own footprint, to create an own masterpiece. To leave the footprint, create your own life. Natural, real, authentic.
